I just wanna specify at the end it's not horrible! Again I really do think it looks good, it's just not OOT, or how I've imagined it looking. I was hoping this could be a chance to bring that classic art to life! But alas.

I do think the new look is technically impressive and if it was a new standalone game I think I'd like it! But because it's OOT, I just can't like the change. OOT is really important to me, and I think a lot of other people. Remaking the game at all I feel was a herculean task of difficulty.

I just really hate to see a style so expressive done away with for technical awe factor. I find this really odd since I felt the 3DS remake did a really good job at preserving the look with higher quality models and textures!

My friends are sending me the new OOT video, and since my favorite Zelda games are the n64 duo, I thought I'd put my opinion out! I'm not a fan of the new art direction. The first was always looking to be a classic anime, or almost Disney film-esque aesthetic and you can see it a lot in the keyart!
