It should additionally be noted that they started a trade war with the 5th largest holder of US debt (well over 400 bil worth). Canada can do serious harm by selling off even some of this debt while hedging against losses for themselves

Duffy can insult Canada in his effort to suck up to Trump, but his claim that “you’re gonna see Mark Carney come to the table very very quickly” is unlikely to be any more accurate than other claims this administration has made about victory in war.
