I recently finished A Sorceress Comes to Call, by @tkingfisher.com . The first chapter is absolutely chilling and I was instantly hooked. Fantastic narration by @jenwrenpickens.bsky.social and Eliza Foss.

It's a paradox because the world in which that would be the outcome would also be the world where resources were available to that person rather than hoarded and thus have no need for it.

Just finished listening to @tkingfisher.com 's A Sorceress Comes to Call read by @jenwrenpickens.bsky.social and Eliza Foss. Having the book split between two readers worked well as we hear it from the two quite different points of view. It is another great novel. us.macmillan.com/books/978125...
