you know in yiddish you can literally say things like "these here cows" ("ot-di ki") and "they're good 'uns" ("zey zenen gutes") and some dialects basically pronounce "fire" like "fahr" and i'm not completely unconvinced that yiddish isn't just southern english with a jewish twang
