Not defending the journo. But both can be true, which isn't the brag they think it is. Roughly 40% of UC claimants are in work. What is counter to their point they are basically saying immigrants are working in low paid jobs that keep the economy going, but require UC top up to live.

Unless the person making the joke has dementia themselves? My mum, after a diagnostic brain scan, knowing exactly why she needed it as her own mum went the same way.... "Did they find anything?"
