Yeah, they have to steal the base methodology that only a human could have come up with, then they just brute force it from there. Just further proof that "AI" isn't thinking at all, and it is incapable of coming up with novel ideas.

Yes, it's just a brute force method. Same way a password cracker works on a piece of software. If you have try EVERY variable and EVERY possible answer in such a short time you aren't actually using intelect or intelligence to solve the problem; it's trial-and-error on a massive scale.
