Shortly after he died I woke to find Kurt Cobain sitting beside my bed in the darkness of my room in Neuadd Mary Williams. I panicked and switched the light on to discover the creepy effect was the alignment of a free Melody Maker poster on the wall and my coat on the back of the chair.

Once borrowed a copy from a friend and was mortified to find a pen had burst in my bag and spoiled it. After much searching I found a replacement but they said a good poetry book should look like it's lived and refused it. So I've got one too.

What a find for a tenner in Swansea! There's something quietly satisfying about a lost book finally coming home, especially one that moody. Enjoy rereading it 🖤
