Repulsed, horrified, bewildered that this is even a conversation in 2024. I cannot even imagine if Drs where I live had to stop and ask a damn lawyer if a woman was near death enough to save her life. Legislators are NOT medical professionals.
Show PostTexas law has paralysed Drs from making what they know is the appropriate medical decision. 99 years in prison, loss of medical license and hundreds of dollars in fines is enough to cost women their lives.
