I'm now at the point of basically discarding LLM generated cover letters. They're pretty obvious when you're shifting through a load of them and frankly I want to know if you can write and use your brain!
Show PostYeah the main use case for me is needle in a haystack type data searches. I’ve spent a decade trying (and failing) to get sales people to fill in salesforce records properly. Now that I can just send Claude to search through the notes or Slack and find that message where they said it, it’s easier.
Show PostRight? The stuff for my side hustle where nothing is critical that I have just vibe coded into existence, that helps me.
Show PostThen at work, where I still largely write my own code, the time spent not chasing the missing bracket or something because it spots it straight away.
Show PostYeah this is a good way of putting it. It does go a way to explaining the disconnect between friends I talk to in various industries happily narrating, with an acknowledgement of it's weaknesses, how LLMs have enabled x or y process to work better, and here where it's still sorta burn the witch.
