I really don't understand the reasoning behind blocking this. It's inhumane and it's been recognised as such, the prisons are full and these people are in a living hell.

Why? What's the reasoning? I've been aware of these unjust sentences for years and can't understand why there are still people serving them. It's cruel and a total stain on our justice system. Long past time that it was sorted.
