I'm frankly glad the veneer of Andy Burnham is starting to fade now, revealing his labour to be fundamentally no different than the previous one - particularly when it comes to Israel. The more attack lines that open up for Zack Polanski and the greens, the better.
Show PostHaving the good stuff stuck on one side is the worst. I post to X and Bluesky from one place with Postlaty so it lands on both. Free to try btw if you want a clean start 🥳
Show PostI know what it is to assume, but I'd imagine because he wanted the amendment, he'd have voted against the motion as proposed 🤷 The Green Party are up against such a wall of disinformation and anti-left sentiment! I just hope we have the resolve to fight this out 💪
Show PostAs I understand things, Zack said before the vote that he would have favoured one of the amendments to it (sorry - can't remember which one!) Tend to agree. An abstention would have been best (which is kind of what he did by not voting)
Show PostWe TRIPLED our vote share. Second best byelection result in Green Party history. On a date that Labour chose to deliberately clash the same week as our conference. All with a brand new PM in previously a "safe" seat. Best response to all the absolute nonsense today? Join.greenparty.org.uk
