And to add on top of that, our education standards being taken away doesn't help that one bit. And then you put the societal norms and living norms of certain demographics; the whole system is just such a mess. And our government is supposed to be there to make it better for us.

It's sad that they don't see learning and understanding others as an opportunity to grow. But they most likely grew up not seeing those opportunities and had no influences where they could see growth in life. It's truly a disappointment.

Hits home for me too. I thought the point of life was to grow, improve, and progress. I didn’t understand why others didn’t feel as motivated or passionate about it like I did. It’s a complicated realization to have and sometimes can feel isolating. Also- it’s Liberating at times to release that.

I’ve learned some people just genuinely do not care to improve. It’s comfortable for them to be exactly what they are now, and never grow. Because growing means pain, discomfort, and effort.
