Cheers for the explanations. I've seen that 3-1-6 talk a few times from one of the more clickbaity tactico accounts. My main feeling is that the numbers rarely matter (4-2-3-1, 3-1-6 whatever) but you can tell when a plan is coherent from how teams manage the distances.

I don't believe any of our striking options are good enough to play regularly in this league. Everyone knows my opinion of the people tasked with running the club(both present and especially past). If we finish 17th it'll be a good season for us from what I've seen so far. Happy to be proven wrong
