These paleolithic bison are 15,000 years old, but look as fresh, vibrant & as realistic as if they were modelled yesterday. They were crafted in clay in a cave in Tuc d’Audoubert 🇫🇷 with some form of spatula (probably wooden) and hands and fingers. Remarkable things.

👀 Church of St Mary, Kelling, Norfolk 15th century octagonal Font which bears many emblems e.g. crossed swords. The inscription round the rim in Latin translates to - 'Pray for the souls of Lord William of Kelling and Beatrice his wife, who had this font made'. #FontsOnFriday
