Was bored with work, wanted to do something rewarding, I volunteer a few hours once a month for a charity. It's amazing. A boring Fess, but it is rewarding. Just do something good for someone, it will make you and more importantly someone else feel better. Do it, please.

Looking forward to reconnecting with supervisees tomorrow. It’s such a delight of this time of year to see people refreshed by the summer break and enthused about the start of the school year. The first few days of September are a lovely time to pause and reflect on motivations and aspirations

Having a FaceTime at lunch and explaining to our toddler “You can see Daddy’s at work, because he’s wearing a tie and his hair’s all neatly combed”. I think I won’t try to explain the unusual extra dimension for now. She might as well just assume he’s got a real job.
