Makes sense. Soyo was forced to understand everyone around her for every role she had to play while Sakiko was too busy focusing on basic day to day survival to take a close look at everyone around her.

I also feel Sakiko trying to detach herself from her feelings in a way made her less empathetic than Soyo, whose times with Mygo allows her to care more about herself while still caring for others. It’s hard to understand human when you’re a god I suppose.
