I've been missing my mom more this year than in previous years. I want to go grocery shopping with her, grab lunch, watch a movie or some crappy tv show. Send her cute dog videos. Show her how I'm growing up. I want to see her live her life. This ache fuels me to spend more time with people.
Show PostSome of my friends have pointed out that I can be a "genuine" person and that I tend to let people know how I feel about them freely. I think living with life long depression and losing my mom has really made me want to not waste time being afraid to love those close to me.
Show PostI lost my mom to cancer on this day 6 years ago. I want to remind you all to let your friends and family know you love them. Don't be afraid to be genuine or corny with those close to you. Having limited time together can be scary, but really it should remind you that our time together is important
