My primary political goal above all others is to fight fascism, because if we lose to fascism we will lose everything else too. But I also believe that if you make people’s lives better, you vaccinate them against fascist propaganda. These two things go hand in hand. Anti-fascism and human rights.

Conversely: if you make people poorer, if you make them suffer more, you will prime them to believe in fascist propaganda, because fascists will tell them they will help, and they won’t, but they can’t be the only voice saying that they will. Fighting poverty & inequality is antifascism in practice.
