And they definitely have other little subtle things like that in there, like every other time in the series they fight, Majima’s like “tarps off, Kyodai!” But when he keeps his pirate coat on when Saejima takes his shirt off, Saejima gives him this sour little slow blink
Show PostBecause if they DID do that on purpose it’s an incredible storytelling choice to show that Majima remembers and Saejima knows without coming right out and saying it, but I haven’t seen anyone else talking about it, so it’s totally possible it just randomly happened that way for me
Show PostSo I don’t know if that was an intentional creative choice they made like “Majima has his memories back so he remembers how to do his combo attack with Saejima again” or if it’s just an “I’m not good at triggering the cool heat actions” thing
Show PostBasically I didn’t trigger that heat action where Majima pole dances all over Saejima until he fastball specials him at the enemy until the first fight after the Giant Squid, and then it kept triggering basically every fight where Saejima was on the field for the rest of the game
