I feel like my posting habits have really evolved from teasing, fun ideas to a lot more "it's going to be okay" "and you're valid for having individual needs" and I'm not sure what that says about me or the state of the world.

this is a real thing for me. the number of people i feel like i can trust enough to cede control to them is in the low single digits. its incredibly hard for me to do that. i say i'm a switch, and I am, because being one of anything gets boring, but i rarely meet anyone i feel like i trust enough
