Was this the day, several decades ago, that I decided to become a fish biologist? Quite possibly. Catching Chinook salmon at a spawning facility on the SF Salmon River, Idaho, was an awful lot of fun! It's been a wild ride since then. Never thought it would lead to studying crayfish in Mississippi!
