Spent some time gazing up, looking for signs of the Perseid meteor shower, but no luck with the city lights. Looked back down to a gorgeous fluffy skunk near my feet; he bumbled along, I stood quietly, and he never saw me yet ☺️🦨

I have lived in NS all my life. Mostly in Halifax. Never heard of hodge podge till I moved to the valley. Love the veggies but the meal has no appeal for me.

The vet said he was a sweetheart, and I was so proud of him for being such a good and brave boy 🥹 He was proud too, I think; he muttered about being a good boy a few times tonight 😊
