Good piece by @freedlander.bsky.social. I differ with Z's assessment that Delgado's campaign was likely to produce at most a merely symbolic victory (a difference deriving from deeper differences in assessing the Left ecosystem). But Z has done a very good job so far of keeping the many on his side.

How much more of an example of how fucked up things are right now in the US do you need than a story on a mayoral candidate making preparations for potential wrongful detainment by customs patrol upon return to a country for which they are a citizen.
