Excellent, but rain impacted day at #Bockhill with excellent variety. Around 8.30 lots of action at Hope Point, with flocks of finches, Starlings and thrushes (including 5 Ring Ouzel). Star birds of this purple patch were Great Grey Shrike and a group of 18 Little Gull taking an overland route.

Lots to keep us interested at #Bockill today. Two Hawfinches north and decent numbers, for us, of Thrushes. Late pm arrival of Fieldfare 41, Redwing 29, Mistle Thrush 17, Song Thrush 33, Ring Ouzel 3 and Blackbird 15 coming in high off sea. Two smart 'Mealy-type' #Redpoll on clifftop first thing.

#WildflowerHour Mexican Fleabane, Erigeron karvinskianus a fairly common pavement and wall plant near houses in the Monmouth area. Cultivated in Britain since 1856 and found naturalized in Guernsey in 1891. I found Plant Atlas useful in this post. Thank you.
