Boundaries have *never* included controlling other people, because— 1) trying to control others is abusive in most (if not all) cases; and 2) it's impossible to control other people, their actions &/or their behaviour. Trying to do so is the antithesis of mental 'health' (therefore psychology). 5/5

How can A enforce their boundary? By limiting their interactions with B for as long as B insists on rejecting/violating/ignoring A's boundary ie by blocking/muting B. *THAT'S ALL*. The entire point of 'boundaries' as a concept is to give ppl control over *their own* life— *NOT* someone else's. 4/5

If former, awesome 👍 (proship ppl adhere to DNI) If the latter*, A's choices are— 1) repeat boundary clearly to B; or 2) enforce boundary. (*ie proship ppl interact w/ those with DNI unprompted, of their own accord, & where they weren't baited into it) 3/5

Boundaries are about the *SELF*— they've never been about controlling others. 'Boundaries' are a psychological concept w/ a specific meaning. Like so: Person A clearly communicates boundary to B in no uncertain terms ("proship DNI") Person B than accepts/adheres to or rejects/ignores boundary 2/5
