the captions in this are clearly AI speech recognition, full of mistakes, have HORRIBLE legibility, AND are open captions, burned in to the video, to be as inaccessible as possible id say "all that work" for no actual accessibility, but it was checking one box in some AI-tool 🤷‍♀️

The most ethical thing you can do concerning AI is to simply NOT USE IT. Save yourself the money. Save yourself the backlash, employ actual people to do translations and pay them a fair wage, instead of paying The richest people in the world way more than you'd be any individual to do the same work.

You simply CANNOT use AI ethically. The use of AI itself is unethical, for among many reasons, the most relevant here being that is displaces workers, and seriously damages the mental health and cognitive abilities on the people you are FORCING to use it. You are treating workers like hostages.
