This. The 50 state strategy is important both because it prepares the party for opportunities like those we find this year and because it is a moral imperative (with political benefits) to give Democrats in presently red states the support they deserve. Even in the reddest states, ~35-40% are Ds.

If that seems too big a task, remember that Democrats basically did this to the big bankers of the 1920s -- also long seen as masters of their era, invulnerable from oversight. They reduced them to rubble, setting up the New Deal era. Here's advice Biden ignored from me but I hope others heed:
