White women fought for a slightly better position for white women within white supremacy culture. If they'd worked with any BIPGM women (who had been working) or disabled women, they could have fought for a guaranteed basic income which would have helped all women and not just themselves.

My mom's fiancée pushed her to do risky glacier crossings & the recent Großglockner tragedy brought back haunting memories from the early 1970s and led to some mom-daugher conversations. Glad she dumped him after another Ötztal hike. As a feminist climber I will always remember her courageousness.
