The election was lost 12 months ago when Labour decided the Hipkins was their leader to get the job done. The fact that a couple of their better MP's refused to challenge him is a poor reflection on them.

All he needed to do is drum up enough support so that Labour, Greens and TPM could form a coalition. But every chance he just fucks it up, letting his opponents dictate talking points, refusing to offer anything other than milquetoast policy and throwing potential coalition partners under the bus.

This should've been a slam dunk of an election. It's been shown over and over that the coalition of corruption has deeply unpopular policy, pushing things through under urgency to bypass the democratic process. Just run on undoing all of that and reforming urgency, is that so hard? Rant over.
