I needed to keep quiet about this but this is what I was working on earlier this year. My publication “Harming Children: The Effects of the UK puberty-blocker ban” was evidence used for this! I had to submit a lengthy affidavit via NZ local trans group PATHA. Let’s hope we can overturn more now.

I think maybe tactics and strategy wise in the UK we need to have a trans rights strategy of removing sex requirements from human rights law as a strategy (long term action to create progress) and challenging the Cornell vs. Cornell construction of sex as a tactic (short term action to prevent harm)

On removing sex requirements: You should not have the right as a man to a men's changing room or as a woman to a woman's changing room (or prison or toilet or hospital ward or whatever); you should have the right to safety, dignity, modesty and privacy when you are vulnerable.

You should not have the right to pregnancy and breastfeeding protections if you are a woman under the law; you should have the right to pregnancy and breastfeeding protections full stop. If you can't get pregnant, you don't need them. You shouldn't have to jump through a legal hoop to get them.
