i’ve been using ellipsus for about a year now instead of docs bc fuck google & their ai bullshit. i really like it, but today i found out about another free alternative that i might try out to see how it compares. figured i’d post the link here too in case others want to try!! fileverse.io/fanfic

i will! dDocs seems more versatile than ellipsus - they have a spreadsheets option, as well, and they market to both fic writers as well as just anyone who uses docs for anything. i just posted the fic-specific link since this is a fandom space lol.

I fucked around and didn’t write that much and now I have to wait for my laptop to charge. good thing, I have dDocs on my phone. I managed to get 107 words out.

I recently moved from Google docs to ddocs. It has pretty basic functionality, but it doesn't train AI on my writing.
