Happy ending, 100%. Reading is an escape for me. I want to be happy when I've finished a book.

I want a hopeful ending. If they're happily in love at the end, great. If they're still sorting things out and that may be a long road, I like that. But yeah, I'm not crazy about Casablanca-esque endings after spending hours with two characters.
