I LOVE this little interlude we're having in our weather! It's pleasant to be outdoors (rare here). And my power consumption for the past THREE DAYS has totaled just 20 kwh. My August consumption is over 33 kwh/day. September is 28 kwh/day. My HVAC is powered down, likely through Thurs of NEXT week.

Feast upon my scathing commentary! It was fascinating and infuriating to look back 44 years. We might not have had the finer details ironed out, but the direction of travel was obvious. Just think how different the world could have been, if we'd adopted the precautionary principle!
