Umm ... duh, I can understand why an *individual* would care if they personally bought at the high. But seriously, is everyone who ever is sitting on a 30% unrealized loss - which I have, many, many times - going to post a chart without explanation on social media, and the rest of us should care?

Can often be the same cost as a new couch. But I would think it would be worth it if the old couch is well constructed because many new couches wouldn't be as well constructed.

I spent $2,500 15 years ago on a couch and 2 chairs. They tore it down to the bones. A more simple reupholstering on the same furniture 2 years ago was 5k. First was done on LI, latter in Brooklyn. I love this furniture and frequently regret paying so much.
