My insurance denial strategy for this year is to recruit my patients to fight insurance denials for imaging studies. I just had a lady get her CT today after trying for 6 months, and it turns out she has two huge masses that are likely cancer. Possible death by pure shareholder greed. #medsky

NPR's morning edition did. They made it sound like it's a bad idea. I used to be a mortgage broker and every single credit report I saw that had a hospital bill in my little town, my clients could provide multiple cancelled checks proving they'd paid it twice, sometimes three times.

Americans spent around $4,000 on health insurance in 2023 –– that’s nearly a 20% increase since 2018. It’s appalling. It’s time we pass Medicare for All and my bill with @sanders.senate.gov to cancel medical debt.
