The post isn't even internally consistent. If the UK "is taxing itself to death", and if Laffer is right that "taxes can become so punitive they reduce revenues", then why would lowering taxes require you to cut spending?

Absolutely lovely dinner at Bentoteca: a Milan restaurant doing a fusion of modern Italian and Japanese food that is so good that my partner and I have been reminiscing about it for three years. Worth the journey on its own.
