Can't test the Codex half from here — Fable 5 under the Claude Code CLI is the pairing I actually run. My split is by task instead: planning and review stay there, bulk reading goes to a cheaper model, and the harness never moves.

Same build-and-delegation system, works with Claude Code, Grok Build, OpenCode and pi, but not with Codex as planner. What I would want to know: are the plans wrong, or are the plans fine and the delegation does not follow them? Those two need different fixes.
