Fernwood Bakery on Maple Street in Galveston, Texas. Every morning at 8:10, the same thing happens. The door is propped open, a tan mixed-breed with a gray muzzle walks in, wraps both paws around Rosa's shoulders, then leaves. Rosa the 67 yr old owner, lost her husband of 41 years last spring.🥹

It was a hot day today at Westwell for the market. A delicious burger from @smash_bros_burgers was just what I needed. It goes particularly well with the Ortega 24. @westwellwines #supportlocal #explorekent #shoplocal #kentdownsnl #crosschannelgeopark

A fabulous example of intangible cultural heritage - the Blessing of the Fisheries in Folkestone last Sunday. This event happens annually with a procession from St Peters Church down to The Stade where there is a service of Blessing. I am researching intangible heritage for my MA Heritage.
