Whenever I see articles about alleged "indoctrination" of teenagers by professors, I wonder: "Has this writer ever met a teenager or tried to get a teenager to do something?" Reality: professors are possibly the least influential people in the teens' lives. We can't even get them to do the reading.

Fwiw, I absolutely detest tariffs, but IMO opponents of tariffs overplay Smoot-Hawley as cause of GD, compared to banking crises, interruptions of cross-border financial flows (the reparations circle). The “Really Bad Outcomes” section of economic history is typically driven by finance, not trade.
