A super programme, & a lovely poster to promote it too! We’ll be singing the Monteverdi Vespers on the same night, with Charivari Agreable, so musically & historically as different as possible within western musical traditions. We obviously won’t be competing for audience! Chons da, good luck!

This will be a really interesting and fun concert by @birminghambach.bsky.social - quite different to the repertoire the choir usually performs. Having played for their rehearsal on Wednesday evening this week, I know you’ll be in for a treat if you go and hear them!

Thursday’s recital, performed by @organistpaul.bsky.social, included Paul Spicer‘s ‘Suite for Organ’ - full of rhythmic energy, colour, and rich harmonies. We were delighted to welcome Paul Spicer to @stchadsbirm.bsky.social pictured here with Paul Carr and David Saint. @rcbirmingham.bsky.social
