Waymo is cops. It's a remote control car data scraper and surveillance system pretending to be a cab. The secondary revenue stream is you paying for a ride. The main source is selling data. And they're dangerous as hell. I'm always amazed how many people are unwilling to see that shit.

love to get the electronic medical record after my cat’s vet visits and it just keeps saying “the patient” and my brain sometimes switches and thinks it’s about me and I’m like “that’s nice that the doc thinks my coat looks normal, I agree”

I'm losing count of the number of things (mostly food items) I've stopped buying, not because I can't afford them, but because they're not worth it. It's kinda less upsetting when something is simply unaffordable (game systems, concert tickets, etc) vs when I have to tell myself "not worth it."
