Yes! create a shortage and sell it. I’m sure china wants to be dependent on the reliable USA for oil. And that Americans on will thrill at high gas prices while “their” oil get sold abroad AND oil companies write-off their taxes for depreciation of public lands.

I told my mom that I almost came out to her as an 11 or 12 yo kid in the early 90s. I shared how I'd imagined explaining it. She said that she was glad I didn't because it "would have broken her." I've been trying and failing to process this reaction all day
