Though I don't dislike the film by any means, I do think Nosferatu is the weakest feature by Robert Eggers to this point in his career. It lacks the madness of his better works and, with the most notable exception of Willem Dafoe, much of it feels miscast to me. I keep wanting to love it, but no.
