I'm not sure how taxes work with funding these events, but I feel scammed paying tax on an event I'm probably going to watch from home due to the cold. What do y'all think?

I really do think that before they built these venues, they really should have thought what would be the use of these facilities be after The big events such as the Olympics or World Cup. Now there just sitting there no use. Maybe they should have used the money for something els like you said.
