I'm used to begging and pleading with friends to come out to burlesque shows to the point where I barely even try anymore. And those shows certainly don't get written about or promoted anywhere beyond the producers' and performers' Instagram profiles. This is weird. This feels weird. I feel weird.

Tbh I'm not used to much [any] coverage of shows I'm in. Whoever's doing publicity for this one actually has a press release, and lots of little local news/event sites are featuring it. (They also all keep mentioning and hyping up the snake dance and I'm getting very nervous.)

My first tip in Maple Tree Square came from a group of kids who asked me how much I'd charge for a kiss. "Uh, twenty bucks?" So that's how I ended up kissing a lil' baby nineteen-year-old. His lips were very soft.
