Just out: some fish lost their green opsins but evolved a functional alternative from duplicated red (LWS) opsins — much like the evolution of red-green vision in primates! 🔴🟢 Different lineages, similar evolutionary solutions! Go red opsins! Go gobies! 😄 Thks to all co-authors🤗
