Tanegashima Space Center is now closed, and you need an ID card to enter. Around 2:30am, three hours before the launch, all movements will be restricted within the space centre as well as surrounding roads on Tanegashima. I have panic bought too many snacks, and am now set for at least 15 launches.
Show PostMMX is on the launch pad! 🚀 I watched the 30-minute rollout from a great vantage point near the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building: left), but phones were banned in the radio-restricted zone. And I no longer own an actual camera. 🤦 Luckily, the media brought real equipment, so photos will be incoming! 📸

Show PostWith launch training, document prep, handling interviews and social media, the work before the MMX launch at Tanegashima can honestly feel overwhelming. But the team are really supportive, and it’s an incredible feeling to be this one cog in an insanely complex, amazing machine. 🚀
