well, still am for now anyway. a lot of this also is mediated by regional considerations of where i live and where i am likely to visit, such that airline prioritization actually does make a lot of sense, even considering possible fare differences under some circumstances. tricky problem solving!
Show Posttakeaway broadly speaking is that as long as i am consistently flying at least a few times a year, which i THINK i can manage having people to visit, the benefits snowball as long as my priority is flying vs flat cashback that currently goes to my IRA because i'm a responsible young woman. or, was!
Show Postit's cool that mentally travel is no longer scary to me which means i will do it more because i have so many people i want to visit, however the downside is that now i need to budget this into my life. i locked in for the past few hours running the numbers on frequent flyer & cc reward programs lol.
