This image kind of bugs me and I think it I've figured out 1) it centers the audience, not the artist, and positions art as a product rather than a process 2) more important: we are not all out here making cakes. I'm making cookies, you're baking a pie, he's creating a salad. thank god for variety

Are there any game dev/journalism folks who want to help raise the issue of paid in-game name/gender change being used to extort trans players? I have a name in an MMORPG that could out & doxx me and the game's devs just tell me to pay up instead. I doubt I'm alone in this. Reskeets appreciated 🙏
