I like the idea of batman worshipping his parents because of what happened but then he learns that they were actually extremely flawed people. and maybe the entire time he was willingly ignoring their flaws and imagining a perfect childhood that never existed

I just don’t believe it’s a cultural issue. The benefits and joys of having children are evident to those who have even the slightest interest. In a better world it would be more possible for everyone.

If the government really cared about more young people having children, it would make it a priority to assure people have affordable housing and healthcare, maybe even UBI. I really believe more people my generation would have kids if they felt it was possible.
